Overview

We are looking for a Registered Nurse to join a well-established Aesthetics clinic in Dubai, Al Ain and Abu Dhabi.

As a registered Nurse with DHA / HAAD  you will be the lead person providing support, guidance and the coaching of good practice skills to all Nurses, ensuring the smooth running of the Derma & Plastic Surgery departments, in addition to overseeing the operations of the nursing unit.

What you will be doing:

  • Apply practice policies, standards and guidance as per the DOH Policies
  • Ensure that nursing care meets regulatory standards
  • Ensure that nursing care medical services are meeting patient needs
  • Implement quality assurance systems
  • Develop new patient care programmes
  • Ensure the proper administration of patient files, client feedback forms and medical products
  • Continually assess and evaluate systems recommending changes and improvements to the Clinical Operations Manager as appropriate
  • Coordinate and/or develop on-going DOH activities for nursing services to monitor nursing compliance, under the supervision of the Clinical Operations Manager
  • Supervise and coordinate nursing activities: Assigns duties and coordinates nursing service, under the supervision of the Clinical Operation Manager
  • Evaluates nursing activities to ensure patient care, staff relations, and efficiency of service
  • Direct preparation and maintenance of patients' clinical records
  • Inspects all treatment rooms for cleanliness and comfort
  • Ensure medical tools are sterilized as per common infection control standards
  • Provide induction training of all new nurses
  • Ensure practice policies are followed and accurate records are kept with particular reference to patient registration and filing systems
  • Oversee nursing schedules to assure they meet operational needs, under the supervision of the Clinical Operations Manager
  • Communicate all areas of concern or uncertainty to the Clinical Operations Manager
  • Establish, implement and monitors the infection control program designed to provide a safe, sanitary and comfortable environment
  • Apply Practice policies, standards and guidance
  • Discuss with other members of the team how the policies, standards and guidelines will affect own work
  • Participate in the preparation for the DOH inspection

What we are looking for:

  • Registered Nurse with DHA / HAAD  
  • Proven ability to manage and evaluate nursing staff
  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficiency in multi-tasking and handling stressful situations
  • Demonstrates knowledge of and application of Key Clinical Quality Indicators, and proactively monitors
  • Strong organizational and time management skill sand the ability to prioritize responsibilities

Communication

The post-holder should recognise the importance of effective communication within the Nursing team and will strive to:

  • Communicate effectively with Medical staff (Doctors and Nurses)
  • Communicate effectively with all patients and co-workers
