This is a 100% remote, TECH Finance Director opportunity. If you are a finance expert who loves working at the transaction level and could have been a programmer in a different life, this role is for you.
This Job is ideal for you if you like using and improving systems, being hands on, coaching your team to make their work even better. It doesn’t worry you that you need build a finance organisation that takes advantage of a remote-first, 24/7 capability to create transformational changes.
What you will be doing
- You will own a segment of ERP(e.g. Procurement, OTC, Accounting or FP&A) and drive it to continuously improve.
- You will deeply understand the work your team is doing and investigate quality issues to figure out why they happened and how they can be prevented in the future
- Based on your insights, you will propose and implement improvements that will make your team’s work simpler and better
- You will be a key player in designing and enabling the finance organization of the future
- Continuously improve a finance function within our remote, 24/7 operation
- You will be coaching a team of remote finance professionals across the world
- When something goes wrong (improperly classified transactions, incorrect reports, etc) figure out why it happened, how to fixit, and how we can simplify and improve our processes so that similar errors don’t happen again.
- Develop improvement plans that make our operations more reliable and efficient while providing even greater value to the business
What s required
- Batchelors or in Accounting, Finance or Economics
- Qualified as a CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA or MBA
- Experience working in a Finance or Accounting role for a USD $100M plus organization
- Worked on at least 5 audits as a client or auditor with a Big 4 Accounting firm
- Deep ERP system expertise, including experience in system integrations and process design
- Great working knowledge of Oracle NetSuite
- The ability to work 100% remotely from your own home office
