We are looking for an experienced Cosmetic Surgeon / Dermatologist to join a well-established Aesthetics clinic in Al Ain and Abu Dhabi
What you will be doing
- Educate patients on general healthcare
- Assess treatment options and agree to treatment plans with patients
- Carry out agreed clinical treatments: examine, assess and diagnose patient deformities
- Perform invasive procedures to correct deformities and abnormalities to restore normal function and appearance
- Perform elective surgery to enhance physical appearance; order diagnostic tests and prescribe medications and treatment
- Recruit, train and manage members of the medical team
- Managing budgets and maintain stocks of equipment
- Keep up to date with of new developments, via structured continuing professional development
- Promote and market services to potential or prospective clients
- Administer anesthetics to relax patients
- Inform patients of problems with their general health
- Educate and prepare following up plans after procedure
- Develop plans for treating patients
- Write prescriptions for antibiotics any procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient by adhering to prescribed procedures and protocols
- Offer exceptional patient care and prepare patients for treatment
- Provides information to patients and employees and deal with all queries
- Maintain safety protocols and sterilizing of instrumentation for treatment
- Manage all medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drugs and oxygen supply, and directory of emergency numbers
- Educate patients by giving clear explanation and plaque control instructions and postoperative instructions; providing reminders of time of next follow up visit
- Document treatment services by recording vital signs and medical histories; charting in patient records
- Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols
- Ensures operation of surgical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions, dealing for repairs, maintaining equipment inventories, evaluating new equipment and techniques
- Maintains surgical/ treatment supplies inventory to determine inventory level, anticipating supply needs supplies placing and expediting orders for supplies.
- Manage surgery resources effectively by using equipment and supplies only as needed to accomplish required results
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Procedures: Consultation , Botox injection , Filler injection, Chemical peeling, Patient follow ups

What we are looking for
- Manual dexterity and technical Plastic surgery skills, plus the ability to maintain intense concentration for prolonged periods
- The ability to perform two types of surgery: cosmetic surgery to improve appearance and reconstructive surgery to correct appearance after an injury or to improve bodily function
- The ability to build relationships with patients and colleagues
- High level communication and interpersonal skills, for interaction with patients of all ages and backgrounds
- An interest in the welfare of others and a sympathetic manner, particularly to deal with patients' fears
- Good administrative and managerial abilities to run a Plastic surgery practice
- Information technology skills, due to the increasing use of computers for keeping records and accounts, and for digital images and photography
